Our 5 Ideas

Idea 1

Show It

The idea is to have a website that concentrates it on the form not the content. So our space will allow the users to upload content in any form (audio, video, text or photos). We will focus on the issue of human rights, but the idea can be copied for other purposes (eg. A website for cat lovers!). It will function as a social network because users uploading content will have profiles so that there's some sort of interaction. The targeted group is mainly researchers, human rights activists and journalists.

Idea 2

SOS SMS

This service will allow people in danger (mostly journalist/activists who get arrested while doing their jobs) to send an SMS to the site that will be directed to those who can help.

Idea 3:

iDefine

The problem is that truth is a cunning and ever changing entity. We want people to define notions like justice, culture, identity or whatever subject. We believe this will create a redefinition of how people see stuff and what are the world-wide trends. There will be a monthly theme where people are asked to define what something means to them and in any form (Text, Audio, Video, Photos, Movies, Anything they want) and at the end of the month a compilation of the contribution with little editorial touch will be published in a magazine that will be called you Define, and it will be a user-generated magazine.

Idea 4:

Understand

We see the clash taking place in the world as a Clash of ignorance. And we want to have a world wide platform for people to share their perspectives about countries they have visited in terms of cultures and not tourism (habits, festivals, values, etc.) and we think this will create a better mutual understanding globally. It will be the place where you add your input about countries you visit, again in any form - text , video, audio, photos...), the place to consult to know how global citizens say about a place you are going to visit and also how people world wide see your country!

Idea 5:

Collaboratoon

Cartoonist might be out of IDEAS

Some people have a lot but don't know how to draw

Collabratoon will bring these 2 teams together, to collaborate in doing a cartoon.

Usage: comedians, cartoonist, writes, everyone

It's for fun, for interaction, and for cross cultural collaboration and understanding.
